WHO IS THE CHEYENNE CIVIC CONCERT BAND?

The Cheyenne Civic Concert Band (CCCB) is a 501(c)(3) instrumental music organization that provides free, live wind symphony performances to the Cheyenne, Wyoming Community. The group is primarily sponsored by the City of Cheyenne, and Laramie County School District number 1.

The CCCB is comprised of volunteers of all ages, and everyone is welcome to rehearse and perform. The group has music teachers, sutdents, doctors, attorneys, soldiers, mechanics, and community members of all different professions.

This group has been in existence as an unaffiliated organization for over 60 years. At one point, the group performed weekly. Currently, the group has five performances on the first and third Tuesdays in June, July and August. The Band has also performed on request, such as the yearly welcoming ceremony for the Cheyenne Frontier Days “Denver Post” Train and a City of Cheyenne Fourth of July celebration.

The Cheyenne Civic Concert band will continue to provide quality,  free entertainment to the Cheyenne community and provide musical performance opportunities to the residents of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
